The grade book has been updated (05/04). There are some students who still need to do presentations for the Storm PSA because of absences or unpreparedness. I hope to have those presentations made up on Monday, May 7th.

A reminder that the Unit 3 Exam is on Tuesday. Students were already given study guides, access to an online practice exam until Monday night, and in class review.

The next – and last – unit is about Astronomy. There are three topics for this unit; Seasons, Cosmic Motion, and the Solar System. The Seasons 101 Lesson is online already, and students will get handouts as well.

The Practice Exam 03 is available in the Moodle course quiz section. There are 50 questions in it though the final one on May 8th will have 20 from those questions. I will also have a handout of questions (no multiple choice) in class. We will also do Jeopardy Review in class.

I have been updating the gradebook for a number of days and nights to keep you up to date, and can tell you that the Term 5 grades have now been posted in Skyward. Students were given multiple progress reports this week to also keep them up to date.
I have also started to post grades for Term 6. It seems strange to think we are on the final stretch of the school year! Students and parents shouldn’t get too stressed over the term 6 grade at this point; when there are only a handful assignments, one assignment can really skew the term grade. I will enter the Key Terms Set 5 on Monday.
Students will be working on independent investigations the week of April 30 and reviewing for the Unit 03 Test. I will have a practice test in Moodle by the end of the weekend, post a guide, and have a handout for them early in the week.
